Looking for a fantastic workout in a short period of time? Here it is, HIIT training on the bikes! A 30 minute class can be broken up into three sections: 5 minute warm up, 20 minutes of intervals followed by a 5 minute cool down. Recent research suggests that HIIT training burns up to 9 times the subcutaneous fat vs. standard cardio training. Using a 30 minute time frame allows an instructor to piggy back the interval class with another 30 minute class such as a core workout, quick circuit or blast class. This combination allows participants to get a fast and effective full body workout in approximately one hour.
